I‘ve said all along that Boris did not accuse Starmer of personally being involved, merely being the head of the organisation that did not prosecute Savile. This is exactly the same as Starmer accusing everything that doesn’t go right on the PM for being the head of government. It still leaves a question mark over Starmer in my opinion because Savile was such a high profile individual but somehow Starmer kept his distance…..
