I wouldn't be surprised to see Cressida Penis ending up being the one to lose her job.

They've made themselves look inept or corrupt.
1. Yes she is. She has been taken 'off-line' to do the investigation. I was an 'Internal Investigator' in the Government Department I worked in. Taken off-line 100% to conduct any investigation. For a start, Gray isn’t any kind of official investigator; nor would the people accused been given their rights or dealt with according to PACE and human rights law.
Oh please, please let it be Dorries and Patel doing lines of charlie off the Cabinet meeting table.Again, I don’t mean breaching COVID regulations, I mean actually criminal (as in arrest, interview, charge, court appearance and trial possibly).
Are you suggesting that Sue Gray has interviewed people under PACE?1. Yes she is. She has been taken 'off-line' to do the investigation. I was an 'Internal Investigator' in the Government Department I worked in. Taken off-line 100% to conduct any investigation.
2. An investigation is just that. Obtaining information, collating it all together, and submitting a report to senior officers. It is senior officers who decide if a criminal activity has taken place. If it HAS, then you move on to '3' below.
3 If it is deemed that a criminal activity has taken place, then matters proceed under PACE 1984 advising an individual of their rights, and arranging an interview under caution.
It is no more complicated than that. However, in the present case, it is very unusual that the Police have stepped in and stated what they have regarding the content of the report, before the report has been published. I believe the correct procedure should have been that a) the full report should have been submitted and published; b) in the light of the contents, the Police then consider whether the law was broken in any instance; and c) if the law was broken, then they proceed to taking what action is deemed appropriate in the circumstances.
Minister Of Culture Wars....Has there ever been a worst mess than that Nadine Dorries, what a horrific waste of space she is.
Minister Of Culture Wars....
She’s that far up Boris’ ring piece I’m sure he’s banging her.
