….I imagine even many Conservative voters will think this Government has run its course, wherever you look the country is an absolute mess.

In the interest of balanced democracy, change is required.

There have always been decent politicians in party’s you oppose but I have never seen politics at such a low ebb than with these Conservatives. It’s a concern, a route to extremism.

There's nothing to stop them from doing this for MP's. Any additional expense they incur from being in London for parliamentary business etc. they claim back on expenses anyway. Rees Mogg was in favour before the U-turn and I would love to see him and the rest of them take a pay cut as part of levelling up.

Perhaps the saddest thing is I know a few projects in England and France that are using things like solar power to help "left behind" communities. People are trained in installing/maintaining the panels, the community gets a degree of energy self-sufficiency, and so on. I know "leveling up" is little more than lip service to this stuff, but you'd think the potential prime minister of the country might know this kind of [Poor language removed] rather than constantly try to make cheap points.
