The club were unsuccessful but mick was a massive Evertonian , he certainly knows a but more about the history of this club than a bloke who couldn't answer what year we were formed when asked on soccer am or some such rubbish . I've defended Neville and over the years , particularly away from home , I think he's been valuable but those quotes show just because you work for something you don't understand it . Do you think ferguson would have made that quote or plenty of others that 'got us' ?

Some will probably say It's faux outrage or childish teddy throwing but after that result and the draw it was certainly the last thing I needed.

Can't say I disagree

To be fair, Man City and Chelski happened RIGHT after that

It's a fair point, add Man U and you've got 3 clubs who are out of our reach. But we should be on par with Arsenal, Liverpool & Spurs...to be fair to Moyes he hasn't been that far off, as his teams have finished above the rest. The problem we all have is losing those crunch games against sides outside these top 6.

If we have an attitude that we're doing well by just being in the top 10, then we're moving even further back to where we should be.

This has really, really pissed me off. Top 10 an achievement for a club like Everton?

It's almost as bad as Moyes referring to 14 year old relegation battles immediately after drawing with QPR. They are trying their very best to turn us into a Bolton or Stoke, and they will eventually succeed in doing so!

Disgraceful comments.
