When I read about this I checked the date to see if it was April 1st.

It's just so... It's beyond stupid, know what I mean? He couldn't have said that without knowing what he was saying surely? It's like he's taken offence to being booed and decided to have a pop at his employer and the people who pay his wages, because I honestly don't believe a person with a fully functional brain could come out with this and not process the consequences.

If John Stones had said this, that's be bad enough, but for the club captain to say it???

Confirms what I've known all along about the Moyes regime and the small time, negative mindset that's deep rooted within the club. But even though I've long suspected it, it makes it no less sickening.

He needs to be dropped from the squad until his contract expires and hope as many Evertonians as possible simply forget this ever happened, because as it stands he's not only going to be one of the most unsuccessful Everton captains of all time, he's going to go down as comfortably the most detested too.

I myself thought Neville's words were a thinly veiled attack on the fans. He has previous for this.
