..who links best with and supports the LB and who best fits the system of play are also considerations.
He didn't play a single game for RBL in the center. I'm not really sure where you got that idea. I guess maybe because they are very fluid and allow there wingers to move central but he was not at any point a center forward or traditional number 10 but still he is a wide player in the Everton system at the moment
The names of positions these days.
I think it is more likely that Richarlison will play upfront and Bernard will play on the left. I wouldn't replace Sigurdsson in the central role if he carries on as he is, Richarlison wants to be top goal scorer and is big enough and strong enough to play up front. I think Bernard is a bit too lightweight to play in the middle.Most believe we are little bit light for competition in CF so it would seem to make sense to have Richarlison as an option here, and leave the rest to battle it out for a left wing place. Pretty sure Lookman has played on the right for us in the past as well.Lets use a hypothetical and say the brazilians click instantly with Richarlison left and Bernard central...Walcott missee a game, its not ideal to move bernard over + lookman isnt great there...
What do we do?
If Lookman stays it will be interesting as Silva will need to give him frequent games also
@Zatara
To actually answer the post I’ll weigh in:
A. I do think in the end Richarlison will turn into an out-and-out striker. He’s obviously effective from the left but his pace, power, hold up ability and aerial strength just make him a future striker in my eyes.
B. They can all cover there - all of them are right-footed. Just because they favour the left doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be effective. What you give up though generally is shots and increase crosses when playing a proper winger. Are any of them decent crossers? Not in my eyes. It’s possibly a position to fill with a left-footer once the rest of the team is secure. (Nicolas Pepe please)

I was actually replying to goats points...which are sometimes confusing, but wasn't using wingers in any example related to the OP...but to his points which went off on a tangent
I like the idea of the attacking players interchanging, but if they are all used to playing on the left then surely its going to end up a bit lopsided as naturally they will all migrate there.
if we swapped 2 wingers over who weren't familiar with their roles then its like a coin toss
no...
How often do we see those wide forwards change sides in the world cup (for example)
Lookman wont be good on the right...
Didn't you want richarlison played up front?
I thought this thread was about Tyrone’s attacking options at Croker next month
Thanks for that ...i was confusedAka ‘Left Wing’
