Hahaha, thankfully the piano lad in our thing was 'asexual'. I'd join a band if I were good enough and my mates would proper be up for it, I'd love to do something with music but that's just a dream really.
YOU'RE BOSS BRY SHUSH LADJdawg you are handsome and all your friends are seemingly stunners.

Keep going mate, I know people who didn't start making any sort of living through music till they were 30or so, and some haven't made a killing and still do other jobs, but love having it part of their life

I learnt how to play ghostbusters on the piano when I was 13, and it's served me extraordinarily well in life. Loads of bars have a piano, and you'll instantly be a hit if you can nonchalently hammer out a tune. You only need to be able to knock out 1 tune on piano, anyone can do that. I took the sheet music to my 3rd piano lesson and asked the teacher to teach me it but he refused as it's in B major (quite sharpy) and I'd only been learning for 3 weeks. So I went away, got a bit rain man on it and boom, who you gonna call? I must have played it thousands of times in many a drunken state in many a bar and got drinks bought for me.
I even played it at my audition to get into the guildhall in London (fancy schmancy jazz college). they asked me if I could play piano so I said yes, and then gave the panel a rendition of ghostbusters, complete with theatrical pauses for them to shout "ghostbusters" out (they didn't). And they let me in.
Learn the piano is my advice.
Got up for an exam at half 6, got ready, did a cheeky bit of last minute revision, checked my exam timetable before I left, no exam til half 1. Plaaaaayed.
Cheers mate, it's in Psychology which is a lot of detail to remember.Good luck mate. stay cool and all will be well.
Went to a birthday do at a bar last night, and met up with some old friends I haven't seen in six year. Had no idea it had been that long tbh. It was a real wake up call. The older you get the faster times moves. I know physicists will argue that point, but it's true.
Had an ace time, and further cemented my New Year's resolution to get out more, connect with the people in my life, and stop being such a recluse. I've drifted away from the social part of life that most people know me for. It's really easy to just retreat inside your own head when money's tight, or friends move away, or if you just aren't as arsed about the same stuff anymore, but it's not healthy.

This has happened to me too, at 26 FFS! All my friends have either moved away or got long term girlfriends. I barely get to go out any more. Going to see if some of the lads in uni fancy a night out this weekend. Got two massive assignments due in on Friday so a bit of a blow out is needed.
