Derby nerves, sick family, and new dogs in the house. Not a good recipe at all. Oh and transfer window closing marks two years since I have been to Goodison and one year since my last match (Southampton away). Too long.

Fancy a trip up in April for Man U? I'm coming over.

We will win, hope family get well soon, is it a springer spaniel

Edit: meant to quote Astro78

Mate, my oldest lad and my wife are sick, but both are resting well now. New Dogs arrived yesterday. One is a Kleiner Munsterlander, and the other is a Brittany Spaniel (same breed as the Dogs we lost in the summer). Adpoted them both, and they are both four years old. Getting them settled is a bit of a challenge, but we will get it sorted.

That would be epic. I am up in the air on which match I will see next. So, so tempting. Hope you are well JDawg.

Blimey, not good that both are sick, good to hear they are on the mend. Love dogs me, Great Danes at ours.

The mighty blues will bring cheer to us all tomorrow, dunno why but I just feel really good about it

Got proper jitters over it already to be honest. Tomorrow is going to drag by at a snails pace until match time. Great Danes are boss. When we were looking, we saw a few at the animal shelter. I think one our friends is adopting one of the danes we saw the other day.

It's the one game of the year where I just get family to text me the result. Watching or listening brings me out in absolute rage. The year moyes surrender the derby by playing a reserve team, I was in the Far East, woke up, saw the result, stared at the screen as I waited for it to sink in, and went back to bed for another five hours in pure fume. Lucky(!) I was on holiday

Couple of year's ago I was meant to be going the New Year's Day game away to West Brom. Got in at about 8 New Year's morning and fell asleep. Woke up gutted that I'd missed the game, even more gutted when I checked what I thought was the result to see it was 0-0. Looked at it for about 5 seconds then refreshed it by accident to see Anichebe had scored a last minute winner (his first in about 2 years). Scenes. Went back asleep and woke up wondering whether I'd imagined it when I was pissed up.

Ha I'm not the only one who avoids it then

Literally the only game, I was also on holiday for the cup semi, and avoided it out on the beach all evening. Thought I'd missed it, made for the hotel... Only to pass a screen to see Coleman foul the starfish. I walked off ,j ust knew what was going to happen and spent two hours ranting even before I'd found out that Carroll had scored
