Superb advice by the Dawg, and Azz too.

I'm getting better, but it's so rare I get out at the moment I'm struggling to meet girls at all. Except online and that girl in my class!

It's getting the balance right too, I don't want to come across as some sort of creep, but then sometimes that makes me just downright boring. I'm too much of a gent FFS.

Same here actually. Been slow for me because I just don't get out and around new women. So when this new girl started and I was attracted to her and starting talking to her I knew she was the first one in a while I was interested in.

You'll never come across as a creep if you smile and show a genuine interest in her. As in actually listening to what she says vs. just waiting for her to stop talking so you can say something else.

It's starting to make me feel think about trying to trying to strike up conversation with girls in just normal, everyday situations. But that takes big balls. I've read though that statistically it's the best way to pick up girls?

I'm going to get to work on this girl on Tuesday. I don't get the chance to speak to her too often and when I do it's usually around a lot of people. I have her on Facebook, though. Just never spoken to her on it.

Sound advice from jdawg, and really that advice can apply to anything in life.

If you don't have a go at something you will never succeed, be it relationships, education, or business.

Most people don't do things, especially when trying to form relationships because they fear rejection.

I can tell you, never fear rejection, better to try and fail than never try at all. In addition the more frequently you try the fewer the rejections.

Carpe Diem!

Don't try too hard, go to pubs and clubs where they play good music (and have a decent smoking area), then you'll meet people by chatting to them as opposed to drunk people in bad clubs. And try to go out/hang with friend of friends.

'Going out on the pull' sounds the worst thing ever so try make it all natural.
