It's starting to make me feel think about trying to trying to strike up conversation with girls in just normal, everyday situations. But that takes big balls. I've read though that statistically it's the best way to pick up girls?

I'm going to get to work on this girl on Tuesday. I don't get the chance to speak to her too often and when I do it's usually around a lot of people. I have her on Facebook, though. Just never spoken to her on it.

One good way to get past that is to talk to girls in everyday life that your not trying to "pick up". Chat up the shop girl or barista. Practice flirting on girls you aren't interested in and see how certain thing work or how they react. Then gradually shift your focus to the ones you want.
