Since Sunday the UK has gone from a group of thugs ripping down a statue to authoritys deciding to take down statues and now to the removal of satire shows from online streaming services. The country is on a slippery slope to mob censorship.

So hang on you thing they don’t think there was a Nazi party or government ? Auschwitz is still there so I’m not sure how that argument holds water .

If by a ‘bunch of Jews’ you mean the Jewish community I think I’d be inclined to listen to them along with the others groups that were slaughtered en masse . You get the outrage over statues of slavers, and others , isn’t just a ‘bunch of blacks ‘ right ?

So would you agree with me, if me an Irish person, who's country and people in it were as you put it "slaughtered en mass" by British government, monarchs and army over hundreds of years, decided that any symbol of Irish oppression in the UK should be removed? If the people of the world decided that all symbols of oppression and bad things from history should be removed then there'd be very little of anything historical left anywhere.

Yea a bunch...A bunch of people is a group of people who share one or more characteristics or who are doing something together. Just because you don't like the terminology doesn't mean it's not OK to say.

I guess if you erase it from history you could udermine Hattie McDaniel becoming the first African-American to win an Academy Award for her part in the film.

You're equating memorial symbols of the holocaust with statues celebrating slave traders.

I'm Irish and I would stand balls naked singing 'Come Out Ye Black And Tans' if it meant Cromwell statues were taken down.
