The Tories are promising everything to every household under the sun, despite having seven years to do it.

Labour are promising everything to every household under the sun.

General Elections

Cuts.

Lots of them.

Then he tweets his hand-wringing 'what can you do?' mantra.

A hideous character. I'm delighted he's had his clock wiped for him in Walton.

You do realise that the cuts isn't the fault of his, the mayor of Manchester, Sunderland, Newcastle or any other major city which has had its funding cut by over 70% in the last 5 years.

I know your stance is "don't implement the cuts" but that is pure bullshit, and you seem quite an intelligent and articulate man. Its ridiculous, and a little sad, that you still can't get your head around Local government finances and the implications it has on people close to making those decisions, as well as those it affects directly and indirectly. Looking at a budget and deeming which essential area needs to go, knowing that people's lives will change, is something that I hope you never have the need to feed back on.

I'm no fan of any Anderson, or his leadership team in the council. But when you have no choice but to change people's lives for the worse, maybe I'll listen to your utter tripe that you keep spouting on this subject.

I'm in tears over the manifesto leak.

The policies that my forefathers fought so hard for are now there.

Proudest day as a Labour Party member.
Couldn't agree more. So happy to see all those things. Reversing the last 30 years of rubbish we have seen. Happy to see the renationalisation stuff in there too.

The 'dented shield' manifesto in a nutshell. ^^^

I know it's not 'grown up politics' anymore to resist cuts. But that's only because the opposition are on board with the ideology of cuts...and Anderson and his right wing Labour ilk are defo on board with the politics of crumbs off the master's table.

Still laughing at Uncle Joe's fate here like.
