As has been pointed out, its mostly student nurses using foodbanks, those not on 21k, because of the costs of learning to be a nurse. If the person is single, 21k sounds a lot, but with student debt, normal debt, maybe kids, childcare to pay etc it's not easy at all.No one on 21k a year should really be using foodbanks barring real unfortunate personal misfortune. I earn substantially less, and yes I have to budget and cut things out at times, but I can cope more than fine.

Yes, I'm definitely saying that. Sheesh.@The Cowboy I'm not sure how you cannot care about the city which gives it's football team it's identity. The first thing managers and decent players do when they come to our team is to identify with the city and it's people. Like it or not, our city has everything to do with our club, and vise verse, and our club's heritage is richer for it.
By saying you don't care about the city, are you also saying you don't care about all of the fantastic things EiiC does to support causes in the city?
Liverpool is the one of the most successful sporting cities in the world, and the city is synonymous with football. Your comment baffles me.
Yes, I'm definitely saying that. Sheesh.
You were pretty clear when you said you didn't care about the city, ergo you don't care about what people do to make the city better. And that does also mean you don't like what Everton are doing to help the city.Yes, I'm definitely saying that. Sheesh.
Yep, it also means I hate everyone who works at the club, everyone who supports the club, and everyone I know who lives in Liverpool. And anyone who's ever been there, including myself. You were pretty clear when you said you didn't care about the city, ergo you don't care about what people do to make the city better. And that does also mean you don't like what Everton are doing to help the city.
I feel at home in Liverpool even though it's not home.
Top rant.Swerve it wannabe mod.
@roydo ill leave it mate, in fact if you want, ban me from this forum full of [Poor language removed] tories, it makes me feel sick that these people associate themselves with this great club, a club that prides itself on its Everton in the community arm, when they support cuts to the disabled, the elderly and the vulnerable.
They support a party that is systematically dismantling this great city yet choose to associate themselves with OUR football club, a club for scousers, a club for social democrats, a club that cares about those less fortunate, for whatever reason.
Still, they think they support our great club whilst putting their 'x' in the box next to the name of a rotten [Poor language removed] who is furthering themselves, who supports the bullying and degrading of the working class, who supports managed decline, who supports racism, who supports victims of rape being permanently identified by their tax code, who supports cuts to welfare for the most vulnerable people in our society. IM ALRIGHT JACK
And I tell you something else, if you Tory [Poor language removed] think you've got a claim to MY club and MY great city, you can [Poor language removed] off.
You are not welcome here (in L4, it seems you are welcome on this forum), and if this is my last post on GOT I've had a nice time but you horrible, Tory [Poor language removed] can all [Poor language removed] off, and I hope you reap what you sow, and after they have destroyed my community, and my people, they come after you, and I hope you suffer in the way we have.
[Poor language removed] off.
Except that most live about 50 minutes away from the city. Let's not confuse PR with actual beliefs.@The Cowboy I'm not sure how you cannot care about the city which gives it's football team it's identity. I liked it.Top rant.
Top rant.
Some of the players, board members and shareholders probably vote Tory - would you prefer they were sold / removed from the board / stripped of their shares?Tory vermin infesting our great club
