I do know that from what I have observed of him I think JRM is probably one of the most internally consistency politicians out there whose political position on key topics are arrived at in an impeccably logical manner. Stuff like calling out Mark Carney on trying to threaten the electorate during the Brexit campaign elevates him, in imo.

Corbyn/momentum and Tim Farron are going to quickly realise claiming the electorate are wrong, foolish, uneducated, didn't have a clue what they were voting for etc doesn't work. You need to make people believe you are right, not ram it down people's throats that they are in fact wrong.
