@Number_25 *TRIGGER WARNING*)
Bankrupting the nation every time they held power.
Destroying industry and innovation with natiolisation.
Blowing all the marshall plan money to buy votes then taking another loan out from the yanks.
The welfare state.
Trying to keep an Empire that was finished the day singapore surrended
Aberfan relief fund
Closing more mines than thatcher
Cosying up to the most evil ideology in human history.
And demonising the white working class they claim to represent.

Hows that for starters? I'll get onto the child molesting later.
Face it your dear party is nothing but a metropolitan elite spewing common room rhetoric.

Why are you so angry

You're just a wum, and not very good at it either.

Go party with your Tory chums...

And caused the suicide of hundreds of disabled people by declaring them fit to work despite GP recommendations.

But hey. Cut that deficit !
Around 80 people per month,it did save roughly £135m problem is it cost £250m more to impliment, plus £143m in bonuses, plus £1.4 billion in contracts to the companies carrying out the whole process, great enconomics

Yeah but at least their mates got rich and will give them cushy jobs as a thanks when they stop being mp's

80 people a month, truly disgusting statistic. People should have gone to jail for this.
Agreed they wouldn't cough up the stats for a long time. Disappointed more wasn't made of this and as you say people going to jail. If I remember rightly wasn't all this IDS's brainchild?

I love the passive aggressive use of Tory on here.

To be honest i feel that too, slightly different than you though as I vote (in effect) for Labour and describe myself as a third way socialist. You go off the uber left tact and your views are branded as "Tory" and i shouldn't be able to sleep at night.

What Labour supporters here should want is a Labour government that can help protect/enact social justice or at the very least be a strong opposition. Some parts of the welfare state need modernising and we shouldn't be afraid to say so. If Labour does not reach out and appeal to the usual Tory voters then they will be out of power for 20 years just like before and how does that help anyone? Least we stood to our far left principles, doesn't wash with me.

Modern politics should bring what's good from the left, right and middle.

I look at it like a starving man turning down someone trying to give him £10 to go eat because he had his heart set on a £20 steak.

Labour could have reversed all recent reductions to in work benefits with the 11 billion they claim the tuition fee removal will cost. Why prioritise students over poorly paid workers?

Go on say it, you're dying to - " bring back Tony Blair " lol

Because in-work benefits are a bottomless pit, and are at the end of the day a subsidy to businesses that give low pay.

If they can bring housing costs down (which a massive council house building programme would go a considerable way to doing), dispose of agency / gig labour and raise the minimum wage then the need for in-work benefits would be much less than it is now.
