I'm a great believer in whole life education and training and
I agree that it needs another shake up, but just putting the cost back onto the general taxpayer will only make it worse.....
It hasn't in other countries though has it? I think most people's experience of it has been service has gone down and price gone up post privatisation (which makes sense as we now have to find the profits of companies).
I can understand the idea of why find something that only a minority of people use. However I can't say I'm massively bought on the idea anyone, government or not can run the rails any worse than private businesses like Southern!
