Been toxic a while. Dunno who’s idea it was to send Milliband up with Blair and Clegg during Scottish independence and to have Darling against Salmond for the debates. They should have the type of relationship with the LP that the SDLP do in NI. A seperate entity but one where they'll ally with the UK LP at Westminster. It's the only way back for the LP up there in Scotland.

It's all forlorn in any case though: decades of Blairism and neo-Blairism (and Corbyn's commitment to the Union) have made them a busted flush there. They just dont understand the place anymore. As you said: the death knell was when thery allied with the Tories to defeat the independence referendum.

It wouldn't have happened if that vigil last night hadn't happened.

We know that Starmer supports coppers infiltrating protest groups and allowing police officers to rape women. That is a matter of record.
