Yes it was. Shortlisted candidates Wendy Simon, Ann O’Byrne and Anna Rothery were reinterviewed last Friday.

I think Starmer has problems with black members of the LP.

His record with the BLM is troubling; and his chummying up to xenophobes he believes will be the key to electoral success means that the LP leadership is heading in the direction of Le Pen's National Rally: appealing to voters on the grounds of nationalism; tough on law and order issues; support for the police and courts; a party that champions small businesses but supports also a strong welfare state. They have the slogan "neither right nor left – French!" . Replace French with British and you have what the LP is going to position itself as under Starmer.

The LP needs burying. It needs replacing. They can devour the Lib Dems and that creates a vacuum on the left. A new party is the answer now. Dont waste time on Labour.

It was postponed last May so I would think it could well be this May when it takes place. As you say, it could be interesting.

Needs a new broom there tbf - the stench of Joe hangs heavy in the air (perhaps Anne Rothery is that person to provide the break, don't know how close she was to Anderson). Agree it doesn't look great - now is not the time for yet more LP naval gazing, but some intervention was clearly needed for a clean slate.
