Not often I agree with you 'Lefties', but you are right about KS.

A bland personality, and 'Conservative Light' policies.

A massive mistake though to yearn for someone like Corbyn again, electoral poison.

Still plenty of time for him I guess. You’d have thought it would be relatively easy to be an opposition leader with all that’s gone on. I don’t think he’s gone hard enough on certain issues and events have been allowed to pass.
Having the majority of the print media against you doesn’t help either of course.

He’s losing me already and I backed him at the start, although I wanted Clive Lewis to be leader.

You have to be shown to be doing and saying the right things and demanding the resignation of a government minister who has broken the law is a pretty simple tap in that he’s somehow managed to blaze over the bar.

We all know Hancock will get away with it but that doesn’t mean the opposition should enable him.

You got it wrong. Be brave enough to accept that and apologise.

How anyone could be taken in by that fraud I'll never know. It was all there in the CV.

Not as much time as you think, Jim.

Assuming the next GE will revert to a date in summer, May 2024 is just over three years away.

We have already wasted an entire year and there is no sign of a big idea....or even a little idea....from Starmer to eat into this Tory majority.

Sitting here, now fully topped up from yesterday, I would suggest that the current Labour leadership appear to be biding their time and still relying on Tory bad decisions. It is a gamble as they could appear to be invisible but most of the population will be focused upon the pandemic. I would imagine the fighting to start once the virus is under control and with earnest in the build-up to the next election.

We should make Carlo our Supreme Leader :)

"I have always said Nightingale classrooms. If you can put them up for hospitals, if you need more space in your schools, put your Nightingale classrooms up"

lol

Did Starmer say this? If so, he's absolutely clueless.

My kids' school has an empty classroom and my daughter is in a class of 36 (thirty six!). They can't open it because they can't afford to staff it. The government don't consider her class oversized so they don't get any more money for another teacher.

I don't think he will have to do anything , by then the Tories will be in the crap for all the money they have siphoned off to there mates and families doing the pandemic, it will be well out in the open by then, possibly Scotland about to leave and taxes hitting people left right and centre to pay for the chancellors actions during the last year or two.
Starmer is not my cup of tea to be honest as he lacks passion , but going back to the road the last two had led the party down isn't the answer , look at the last 3 GE to see that's a disaster waiting to happen.
Party is to still to London centric and needs to find its working class heart again or its doomed.

The pledge card for the 97 campaign didn't make an appearance until 96, so why start making campaign promisrs now?
