Corbyn is guilty does not matter truth or the principle of this matter, unfair and unjust it is.

His failure was not being able to unite Labour with his labour when leader.

er - it was around a dozen Labour folk who actively fought against Labour at a general election. Several prominent Labour folk who did so accepted rewards and jobs after it.

The reason why Labour wasnt united under Corbyn is because those creatures refused to accept he was leader and were willing to do anything to get rid of him, up to and including wrecking cross party measures (on Mays Brexit deal) and telling people to vote Tory, which has led directly to the disaster of these past 12 months. They should never be forgotten, in the same way Ramsay Macdonald never has been.

Not saying they were issues too.
However, pick a mix manifesto... And the backdrop sound bite message regarding brexit was bring the country together when is was very evident the Labour party was not, unsurprisingly did not cut through to the wider electorate.
Discipline unified party plays hard right across the electorate, if you don't have it you don't get the votes to form government.

Pathetic.

100,000 butchered buy the Tories and Starmer is trailing them.

Labour are done pretty much.

Corbyn was pro Palestinian rights which alienated lots in the party who called it anti Semitic for not being pro Israel.

Now Starmer is much more pro Israel he has alienated the more left wing part of the party who are pro Palestinian rights.

It’s no longer a broad church and throw Brexit into the mix where labour still don’t have a cogent policy it’s staring into oblivion.

If it can’t be this shower in government now there is truly no hope

The LP needs to be broken up.

I disagree a lot with this - there’s always been a broad church in the party and still is; the change now is that the belief that the right and centre were the only ones competent enough achieve power (in the party and in government) has collapsed.

Corbyn winning in 2015 put the first nail in the coffin, but how the internal opposition behaved during that time, and especially since Starmer took over, has left them (the centre and right) buried in the ground (edit) in terms of the argument. They aren’t now twenty points ahead; the media haven’t welcomed Labour back into respectable politics; society isn’t less divided.

Corbyn was by no means perfect, but if there isn’t that much change in fortunes between him and Starmer then perhaps it should finally dawn on them that he (Corbyn) wasn’t the problem.
