Not in terms of the polling they wouldn’t; no Labour leader would.

Until the entire industry that exists to prop the Tory Party up is dealt with, Labour is really unlikely to have any kind of big sustained lead. All I’d like to see is the people who spent four years claiming otherwise admit they were wrong.

Possibly I guess. Bit grim to think that that is entirely the case though. Could also imagine that once Brexit and Covid are no longer such prominent issues, labour could see a bounce.

So Starmer announced today his intent that any Labour Government will be denying the Scots their chance to vote on whether to leave the UK.

He's used to rigging votes in the Labour Party against its own members. A proper democrat.

There really is no excuse for the LP not to be 10-15% points ahead. The country have just experienced mass death at the hands of Johnson and his fellow murderers.

There is a huge excuse dave - as I said above though I’d love it if the people who claimed Corbs should have been twenty points ahead (of a government that had far more benign circumstances than this one does) would now admit they were in error. Call it a Christmas gift between comrades.
