If Anderson is involved in anything corrupt then he deserves to be arrested. Wonder if its anything to do with the halted Elliott Group projects around the city that were under investigation.

Also its hugely frustrating that the police seem to be doing there job here, meanwhile in Westminster you have Tory MP's granting each others council large funds as a quid pro quo and Jenrick ramming through a property deal that had been rejected by Tower Hamlets Council, one day before new infrastructure charges came in, so his donor avoided paying between £30-50m to the council.

Meanwhile, back in the real world (a lemon free zone) the Labour Party is starting to poll ahead of the Tories in 36 of the 45 'Red Wall' seats that Corbyn's Labour lost last year.

I doubt he'll do a U turn on them tbh he's too left to be another Blair/Brown which is disappointing but anything is better than more of Boris.

That's only true because Starmer hasn't made policy yet. We exist with Corbyn era policy, as it stands.

But look at what's happening on issues over party unity (a promise broken); abstaining on the spy cops bill; standing aside and failing to oppose deportations. Doesn't leave you with the impression that the policies (when he finally speaks up to make his known) will be a continuation of the immediate past, does it?

Maybe this policy shift will come, however, until there is the proof of this Starmer is still an open book.

Mainly because discipline under Corbyn was non existent, not really concerned about the why at this point now. Just for the wider electorate it matters incredibly.

One thing for sure both in real-time life and here, I've seen hardened right wing libertarians stick their hands out for that furlough or business grant quicker than screaming about Mays dementia tax in 2017 election, so one thing for sure we are all socialists now, whether they care to admit or not.
