We are in an age where class should not exist as a concept let alone a “thing”, but as long as people see themselves as being inferior/superior to others then socialism will fail

But it does exist and it exists because the ruling elite want and need it to - it has nothing with people seeing themselves as inferior, it just is a structure and power dynamic that exists. The only way to try and dismantle it or to improve things is through class action and collective struggle - this has repeatedly and regularly pushed progress for both the working person and for society in general so it's not quite true that it has meant socialism has always failed.

Sorry I edited my post to change fail to never be

Momentum haven’t even been going for a decade so it’s a bit of a stretch to blame them for Brown and Milliband losing their elections.

I said them and their ilk.

To suggest the Labour Party hasn't had far left / socialist heavy members prior to momentum is ludicrous.

Who are their ilk? Milliband and certainly Brown didn’t affiliate themselves closely to the left of the party so I don’t see how you could blame them for those elections?

Labour has always had socialist heavy members, it’s kinda the point of the whole labour movement. Are you suggesting the Labour Party should be rid of socialist members?

So you want to get rid of all the "socialist heavy members" in the party do you?
Go and form your own centre right party because that's what you come across as...oh wait, that's what Labour are now, no matter what sort of spin you put on it.

You beat me to it....

What Labour need is more prominent centre left socialists who have an understanding of the real world.

The problem is when you get the likes of Corbyn who promises the world and is out of touch with reality and fails to acknowledge that mild socialism & mild capitalism alongside one another is the realistic happy medium in terms of raising standard of living whilst also keeping global businesses from not just packing up and doing one elswhere.

If Corbyn and Momentum really cared about the working classes they would walk away and let Starmer reform the party and win the next election - we cant cope with more Tory rule but that is what we'll get if we keep letting the lunatics run the asylum within the party.

No you didn’t - you said they’d been in charge not that they’ve been present (indeed the point that socialists had been in Labour was one you appeared to reject when you said they’d be better in the Green Party, so its a bit mad you claim that’s what you are on about now).

In fact you’ve said the same thing (that Momentum were to blame for ten years of Tory rule) at least twice here.
