Is it or is it not anti-semitic to make negative remarks concerning the nation known as Israel?

I think a more pertinent question would be Why? Like they aint the only country on the planet that can be criticised, but they seem to take up quite a lot of some in the LP ammo.

Keeping rotten known Tories in their key and ministerial positions is clearly a strategy, of keeping the story alive... Its a long time to the next election.

Indeed, but let me put it this way - the two statements below are different.

I am critical of the tactics of Israel in regards to aggressive policing. I don't believe Baltimore PD should take lessons from them.

The Israelis taught Baltimore PD how to kill black people.

One of the above is criticism. The other is anti-semitic conspiracy theory.

Peake did the latter; RLB endorsed it.

It isn't, but why on earth did they even get mentioned by Peake as to why a US cop might kill a black man?

I'm no expert. That's why I asked what you thought of the Amnesty article @Moomin shared.

The quote from Peake is: “The tactics used by the police in America, kneeling on George Floyd’s neck, that was learnt from seminars with Israeli secret services.” Correct me if I'm wrong but my interpretation of that is not that she is insinuating "Israelis are teaching the US how to kill black people".

I think RLB was silly to share that article for a few reasons but for me I find it difficult to see that as anti-semitic in any way.

Starmer was right to sack LB in the same way as the employees of the Burnley "White Lives Matter" flyby organiser were.

LB was either wilfully or ignorantly giving support to anti-Semites - either way she's clearly not the right person to be in the shadow cabinet. Starmer had been crystal clear that he wouldn't tolerate it - no one to blame but herself.

This country does not want the hard left - how many elections do they have to lose to understand that?

TBF I don't see how you can not get an insinuation of that from a sentence like "the tactics used by the police in America, kneeling on George Floyd’s neck, that was learnt from seminars with Israeli secret services".
