Seems harsh that - if you are going to say that saying something positive about someone means you agree with everything they’ve said then many more people are going to be sacked.

Goes beyond that really. The headline of the article said if you didn't vote Corbyn you're a Tory. Way to win people back, a really constructive thing for a Labour frontbencher to back.

No, while it's harsh, clearly he wanted any excuse to get rid because shes the epitome of a failed ideology and already a political relic. Had to be done, and for me the blame lies mostly on Long Bailey for not having a brain and backing that piece publicly.

Yeah, thought when she tweeted that article she’d at least face a backlash

She’s very stupid for doing that. Glad he got rid, we don’t need that nonsense anymore.

Shame because we need more people like her in frontline politics, but she has always come across as a bit immature to me.

I liked RLB, I felt quite sorry for her at the debates, and was pleased Starmer gave her a position. I imagine she'll be back too but he had to act quickly and make it look zero tolerance. It would have turned into a whole hoopla that will hopefully be headed off now.

I do however 100% agree that those who didn't vote Corbyn essentially voted Tory and I would happily name and shame each individual in a public ceremony.

I agree. But sharing the article was silly nonetheless.

Pictures of that technique being used on Palestinians by Israeli soldiers and police aren't exactly difficult to find. Just sayin'.

Doesn't amount to conclusive proof that it's official training, although it clearly is, off the record, given the number of pictures that exist, and it's easy enough to deny that it's been taught to US police, and calling Israelis liars is antisemitic, don't ya know.

Silly, silly RLB. Thought she'd know better by now. Disappointing.
