Yep, I voted for Starmer for the hopes that he would continue part of what Corbyn was doing but be taken slightly more seriously.

That hasn’t happened and I should have just voted for RLB like planned
And you are to be commended for stating that.

I'm sure the others on here still labouring under the misapprehension that he's a) a winner and b) a socialist will eventually get it.

No neither am I. I'll just simply state that you're an apologist for a man who made several, shall we say, 'illiberal' judgements to protect the state's "security" forces while DPP.

This feller is a careereist and part and parcel of the Establishment. How on earth a scumbag like him has gained power after Corbyn I dont know.
You can state it, doesn't mean you are correct.
It has the same effect as much of your debate, which has the air of a man screaming at pigeons.

There is room in the world for more than simply 'with me or against me'.

And I suspect people thought they needed a change of direction after the frankly disastrous General Election campaign in 2019 and another failed General Election campaign in 2017.

TBF those “failed” campaigns really need to be re-evaluated based on what we are seeing now; the media coverage of anything opposing the Government is not fair (by and large) or honest.

The media bear a lot of responsibility for doing that in 2017 and 2019, as they do when they do it now. They’ll do the same until either they voluntarily stop or are removed.

Much like this line of attack against Starmer.

Not really, this is more valid than that - in that Starmer obviously isn’t as left wing as Corbyn, and in terms of tactics being constructive is getting nowhere in the same way as opposing the Tory filth did.

I meant in regard to the legal position regarding De Menezes.

I'm not really interested in debating the internal struggles within the Labour Party

He absolutely wiped the floor with Johnson in PMQ's today. Again. I think last week is the only time he hasn't done, to be fair.

Still don't know what I make of him, though.

He bowled some very nice questions, very politely, Boris knocked everyone out over the boundary.....
