I like her but Dodds did not have a great showing on Marr this morning. She couldn’t give answers because there hasn’t been a line from the top.

If this was Corbyn, we’d have been lambasted for weak leadership. Just say the scientist say now is not the time for this to end and let it be.

Easy. Let’s rise again in the polls and still be principled.
Dodds: I read her interview in the New Statesman. She has careerist written all over her. She was promoted under Corbyn and now cant bring herself to acknowledge that. Another PPE graduate drone who'll turn toward Blairism in a heartbeat.

This feller just isn't getting the job done.

An absolute waffler when leadership is required.

Barely two paragraphs before forensic is trotted out. It’s like bingo now.

“It’s blindingly obvious to me that the prime minister is just too weak to sack him, he says.” Can you lead with that then Keir? Tar.

Another shoeing, then?
Pretty weak , to be honest mate, but then again at the present time Starmer will have to walk a tight rope , if he went all in , he could be painted as scoring points out of the crisis, might not play to well with the general public.
Nice and steady will do right now , just wait for this government to implode as I am sure it will.

Need to get New Labour back.

Went downhill ever since they moved away from centre left which was a vote winner.

The UK has no taste for far left or right shenanigans we love being on the fence.

Not especially. Looks like the whole Cummings affair has been successfully ‘moved on’ thanks to the protests in the states. Don’t mind Starmer too much, and he does make Johnson look an idiot but he could do with showing a bit passion from time to time.

It was fairly obvious the Cummings issue would not be raised. All parties have a similar problem and no doubt Boris would have been well briefed on every individual.....

Starmer.....“I sent the PM a confidential note and he has not replied”......Boris “I phoned you up and we discussed it” .....forensic......

Yeah fair enough. Just pretty disgusted that someone can brazenly lie in front of the nation and get away with it. Real low point for accountability and integrity.

TBF even his gentle, absolutely sourced questions like the one about the head of UKSA criticising the governments lies over testing got a hysterical “playing politics / attacking public trust” response.

Any question anyone asks that is even remotely critical of whatever they claim the truth is will get the same response.

Look at how they are responding to tonight’s Dispatches for example, where the programme will apparently claim that herd immunity was policy based on nothing more than the recorded words of the PM, Whitty, Hancock, several press releases, witnesses from across Europe and the evidence of our own eyes.

Obviously it’s going to be fake news.
