The state of the Daily Telegraph posting a photoshopped photo suggesting Diane Abbot had two left shoes on. This is the state of ‘journalism’ in 2019.

The campaign by the disgusting far right to assassinate the character of Diane is a disgrace. This is a hugely educated woman who has achieved more in her life than most ever will.

How do you know it’s photoshopped?

Its pathetic.

Dig someone out for their policies or their hypocrisy, but jeez, are modern journos hard wired into twitter at the expense of actual importance?

Actually, dont bother wasting some time typing a reply.

Well that´s 4 elections we´ve lost on the spin. The best result we´ve had in that time was actually with Corbyn, which is scant consolation tonight of course. There are plenty of factors at play, doubtlessly the leader´s lack of popularity on the doorstep being high on the list. The next person in charge can´t be so susceptible to attacks from the press, simple as that.

I do however really struggle to sit here and listen to the likes of Alan Johnson and Ed Balls trash talk the party as though they have all the answers. If they did, Corbyn would never have ended up in charge in the first place.

Brexit was definitely a huge force tonight as well. Get Kier Starmer as leader? Great, go for it, but how would his second referendum play any different in the northern towns to Corbyn´s? The fact is there was no magic wand, this was an incredibly difficult election for any leader of the Labour Party to win.
