She is a disgrace.

The way Johnson has acted should have people like her (talentless chancers, blagging £80k pa.a. for f.a.) down on their knees thanking their lucky stars they have a leader who is collegiate and rational.

Big gob is as classless as she is clueless.

It doesn't surprise me. She doesn't engage, she just transmits a stream of utter BS.

yeah, engage is the right word. Mogg was engaging with the working-class folk and getting comfortable responses, despite him looking like an upper-class twot from a Viz knock-off. Jess in contrast seemed very awkward and forced.

I literally just switched on the circus that is Question Time to see Emily Thornberry destroy her party's chances in just one sentence.

She said they were going to negotiate another deal and then she was going to campaign against it.

Ian Dale nailed her. It was a ludicrous statement. Severely harmful to her party's prospects.

I'm done after 10 minutes in. The state of politics today.

Imagine the rest of the Brummie short list for that Birmingham Yardley seat of hers! They must have been utter mutants.

A chancer with a big gob who's blagged her way into a position of prominence in a major political party.

Britain 2019.

Thornberry is a waffler. I cant imagine her in a court room if she's a barrister; they're usually concise and measured and dont use woolly language.

The answer to any question over what Labour party policy is is that it's heading in the direction of a remain ticket but is yet to be rubber stamped. That's it. Full stop.

I cant believe how lacking in verbal skills these front line MPs are.

There's just that burning issue Dave that a big number of safe labour seats voted overwhelmingly to leave.

If they commit to remain, they'll lose the majoirty of those voters to Johnson or the Brexit Party, surely?

Unless they're expecting the people who have been called thick (mostly by students and hipsters with beards and those stupid illustrations of themselves as profile photos on twitter) for the last three years to change their minds. Don't get me wrong, I think some of them will have changed their minds. But I don't think it'll be a majority of them. I'm from one of the safest Labour seats in the country (or at least it was in the last gen election), and it voted to leave.

Just watching it now, she's horrible.

I'm not saying that because I disagree with her. Johnson is a liar.

But she just comes across as a horrid, angry person.

The remain voter at the start who had a go at them all, and she just sits there arms cross shaking her head with utter contempt. Sickening.

the top-rated comment in todays' Guardian politics coverage, from almost 30,000 (thirty-thousand) comments, with over 1800 likes, is the following:

Jess Phillips for PM.

...either Brexit is turning heads to mush or Jess is a lot more popular than we realised.

Or that tweeter is a troll/bot. The rose in their name and the ridiculous number of accounts they follow is a dead giveaway. No actual person could follow 107,000 people.
