Or Corbyn could get him to state in Parliament and with a hand on the bible that it will take place when he says. This nonsense is just that, an excuse to run away.....chlorinated chicken will always be a descriptor of Corbyn.....
It was a pretty poor attempt at trumpesque personal insults towards a rival in my opinion.

With any luck Boris will destroy the Tories over this.

If you cant see why then you havent been paying attention. If he agrees to an election then Boris can just change the date so the election takes place after October 31st.

They can see just don't want to admit, Corbyn headed this off on Monday before Johnson had time set the trap, that's what hurting. Johnson and Cummings dream ticket, well its not all that.

And to be fair all the opposition's could see this trap and they were are all calling it.

Let the Tories have their name calling it's their only policy after all.

I’ve gone off Corbyn a bit recently but the way he took Boris apart last night got my blood pumping again. It’s not in or out, we are a small insignificant nation these days and the real vote is for Europe or America. I know what I would go for...... and it’s not that clown they call POTUS.

If Labour believed they would win a GE then they could do whatever they like in respect of Brexit. So either they do not believe they would win or they are frightened of having to deal with Brexit. Not a pretty sight from a party that wants to hold power......

I'm no defender of the Labour Party, but surely on this issue the position is clear; they want an election, but only after the threat of a "no deal" Brexit has been put aside until after the election is held.

Three or four weeks' delay isn't going to make that much difference.

Hello Pete.

They, and the other opposition parties are prioritising safeguarding our rights and standards before potential power.

Your stance is somewhat akin to goading a man to gamble his families income for a chance of power. Once this bill passes, you'll get your election.

It won’t. Corbyn will find some other excuse to put it off. Anyway if he won the election he could ‘safeguard our rights and standards’ because he would be the government. He’s a coward and now everyone knows it.....

He'll be there, and the other parties, unlike Johnson at the Heathrow vote.

It’s already done, every piece of EU law will be adopted into U.K. Law. So this theory that the government will change workers rights, food regulations and everything else is utter nonsense.

I dont think you understand, they cant do whatever they like with Brexit because no deal would happen in the middle of or just after the election by default with no time to stop it, thats the whole point

They have just voted to extend the deadline, how much more time do they need....

Then you'll have to forgive my skepticism, like we've discussed earlier, there have been some changes, and what would have been the point to the opposition discussing these things with May, or the ammendment yesterday, if what you say is true.

Leaving in just less than a month and you think hundreds of pieces of legislation are going to be written??

The only worry is the Irish border, nothing else
