Absolutely spot on analysis of the Brexit conundrum.

I love the idea of workers co-ops funded by government loans, what a great way to take away the power of corporations by giving the working class the opportunity to own the firm they work for, and at the same time deliver a long overdue kick in the goolies to the broken and divisive bastardized capitalism that we have atm. In the interest of fairness I would also like to see corporations having to pay the same levels of interest on loans that the not so affluent have to pay eg. payday loans.

I was a staunch supporter of J.C. right up until I saw his support for Shamima Begum the ISIS girl, on that point alone he should step aside and let Mcdonnell lead the party after a purge of the plastic Tories still within the Labour Party.

Really? That seems a particularly absurd thing to drive you away from him - I mean, he didn't support her, just pointed out that she was a British citizen.

It's worrying how much of the right there is in the spectrum with Conservative vote feeding Brexit , as household economic woes press on, so the people, as always look further to the right for answers...

Its ok for a first term, however, Labour would have to be progressive and quick in its wealth distribution to break the right vote.

It depends what you mean by "wealth distribution" there - if we are talking about increasing the minimum wage / some kind of UBI then they won't get past a first term and the country will probably go into recession.

If on the other hand they turn away from direct measures and look to thinks like building hundreds of thousands of new homes, ending zero hours / subcontracting and vastly improving public transport links then they will probably keep the Tories out for at least as long as Blair did.

How does charging corporations the same for loans as payday loan companies charge make anything fair exactly? You also get that companies use loans to expand operations, which keeps people in work, right?

An actual bonkers post that beautifully highlights why people aren’t fully on board with the lefts ideas.

For me, Shamima Begum was the straw that broke the camels back moment with Corbyn, by defending her right to legal aid (https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...rbyn-defends-shamima-begum-right-to-legal-aid), why should ANY member of ISIS receive any form of aid from the British taxpayer.
His leadership over Brexit has been almost (but not quite) as shambolic as the Maybot and he has let the Blairites run riot within the party, although some of them have already left.
A more steely socialist who is a much better orator is needed I feel.
