There's not - there's only other 'interpretations' if you are desperately seeking one.

It really is very straightforward.

Obviously it isn't.
So, because you recognise there being one interpretation, there are no others?. So when.an opposing view, as determined as yourself is promoted as vigourously, what happens then?
Are you inferring something there with 'desperately seeking one'? Because I am making a point, consistently, and that does come across as an inference. Is the subject matter so sensitive as to only allow inference?

The video you linked is correct. Where it isn't correct is describing it as a complex issue. It's not difficult to understand.

When you equate Jews to having responsibility as a collective to the nation state of Israel, it is anti-semitism. If you have a problem with the geo-political aims and the political reality of Israel as a nation state, it is anti-zionism. In relation to Hatton's tweet, that's the only interpretation needed.

You specifically asked me what part of Hatton's statement was anti-semitic, when it should have been crystal clear on first reading. It's not about interpretation; it's about a lack of understanding. I'm not inferring that you are anti-semitic - what I'm saying is that you seem to be desperate to create a grey area to justify anti-semitism from those with your own political ideology, so that it isn't really anti-semitism.

So many perspectives and interpretations it's no wonder those who have opposed bigotry across the board are now called anti semitic

That is a very decent summary, but look at what he says from 3:10 to 3:50 and then re-read the last five pages of this thread. You can see people doing what he condemns here.

So you at last get to accuse me of something. I have been consistent in pointing out that there are grey areas, there is confusion and as a result everything comes down to inference. What you are, not actually stating, but demanding, is that everybody sees it your way, they patently don't, not just on here.
As for this charge that I am trying to justify anti semitism for my ideology (sic) I would hope you would retract because that is tantamount to calling me anti semitic. I doubt you would because you've never displayed that kind of grace before.
When.I asked about Hattons tweet was that not an opportunity to educate or elucidate? The fact that I asked, iirc so did others, where the charge was indicates it wasn't clear. The last two days of this has been about that.
Again, I'd hope you would retract that accusation or back it up with evidence, as it is mine concern for your opinion is none existent, I would leave for anyone remotely interested to gauge your self worth for themselves. Well done you ;)

I'm demanding nothing, I'm saying there's no grey areas - so you're consistently wrong.

I haven't accused you of anything either other than to say exactly what you are admitting - that you are seeking grey areas where none exist.

If there are no grey areas then why isn't the whole world standing on chairs clapping you?
I have pointed out/highlighted that there are grey areas, otherwise there wouldn't be confusion and you've been itching to point and say anti semite, and you chose me.
You said I was trying to justify anti semitism. Have you got enough character about you to either retract or back it up?
I am not particularly bothered one way or the other, but at least grow a pair and stop showing yourself up as a weasel.

Haha no lad, there aren't grey areas. It's anti-semitism by definition - you could put that tweet next to the term in the dictionary.

You're incapability to understand what anti-semitism is, or unwillingness to do so, doesn't mean you're seeing "grey areas" - it means you have a fundamental lack of knowledge on what it is. That's it.

I'm not calling you an anti-semite - I'm saying that you are looking for reasons as to why you can't identify it, or you are looking for "grey areas" to excuse others. One of the two, there's no other option. Either way, the problem is you, not the definition.

So. No grace then? Thought not.
I'm not the problem, I'd say you are. You don't see there is confusion when there is. You are calling out anti semite with no justification, ergo, you are the problem. Erm, lad.

Once again, I haven't once called you an anti-semite. Not once. If I wanted to, I would. I don't, because I don't think you are one.

If you genuinely think that tweet is confusing, do more research on the subject. Because it isn't confusing. The definition can't do the research for you - that's on you.

Accept your own weaknesses and improve them. Don't lash out at someone for pointing out the obvious to you.

Don't be an arse all the time, have a break. You have said what you've said and have shown no balls. Good for you.
