personally I think it reeks of rank hypocrisy from a serial liar who flip flops on a whim.

You're free to form whatever opinion you like, but I've seen your others and have scant regard for any of them.

The 58bn doesn't exist any more, it got spaffed up the wall on things like Mone's yacht & Truss's mortgage bomb. If this upsets you maybe you should have voted for Corbyn in 2019 and made sure the WASPI women got all that cash at the time. Pretty sure you voted against their interests though and as such don't have a leg to stand on.

You missed out Blairism - that's where the neo-liberal policies were deepened and where working class solidarity undermined more insidiously. Starmer's lot are the latest and worst incarnation of the drive toward the privatisation of this country.

To back that is to be completely clueless.

There's a left party being formed early next year. Whether it gets anywhere who knows. But at least I'll have a party to hold onto again and there'll be a real model of what a left wing party should be...something the LP hasn't;t been for decades.

You're not seeing the wood for the trees if you focus just on Blue Tory. Toryism is the only game in town in our parliamentary system.
erm...

I'm alright Jack?

I'm sure we will see similar sorts of statements about how these women were robbed out of the mouths of your creatures soon, pete.

My wife was born in 51 and she too knew nothing about it. An ombudsman reviewed all this and proposed a solution which two faced Starmer thought there were votes in it but has now decided to ignore. While my wife doesn’t need the money at present, it might at least have gone towards her future full time care package, the care payment limits of which Starmer and Reeves have also reneged upon. If this is your brave new caring world I want nothing to do with it, it’s shameful tbh….

both changes to the pension age were done by Tory governments, pete

Corbyn would have been the WASPI womens biggest ally, but I bet less than half of them voted for him when they had the chance.

Probably. The WASPIs are the younger half of the Baby Boomer cohort and as such are statistically likely to break Tory in general, I'm sure it was skewed more than usual in 2019 but haven't looked it up. I'm sure plenty of them are decent people but on the whole they lean right.

So what's happened here to most of them is that they voted Tory, then in a typical "Leopards Ate My Face" moment got shafted by those they put in power. And now they're angry that Labour haven't come along to dig them out of the hole they put themselves into, because Labour are too busy digging everyone out of holes of Tory making.

Don’t forget Brexit etc. But the point you keep missing is Starmer in his pulpit preaching how he would support these women, Liz Kendall did as well. Starmer lied to become Labour leader, lied to become PM and has done nothing but lie ever since…the man is a disgrace………

“ Corbyn, who now sits as an independent MP, attacked the government’s decision. “First, the government cuts winter fuel. Now this? Whose side is the government on?” he posted on social media.”

Now I never rated Corbyn, but I respected his social aspect views as in his heart I believed was a decent man. By comparison Starmer is just a lying toe-rag who appears to have no morals nor beliefs apart from saying anything to be elected. I didn’t vote this year but I knew Starmer would win, I hoped at least he would bring a social conscience to the job in hand but todays comments, while he’s out of the country yet again, are as being reported…shameful. This will come back and bite him on his arse, maybe even sooner than people think, because the unions, back bench MP’s, and Labour councillors know that Labour doesn’t stand a cat in hells chance of winning any kind of future election, local or national…..

Why do you hold Labour MPs to this level of accountability but fail to do with Tory ones, especially Boris?
