I see No.10 has commented on the master chef hoo ha. Now with all the issues going on regarding the budget, the war in Ukraine, the resignation of a minister, trade, farms, EV’s etc etc…what the hell are No.10 doing spending time commentating on some issue such as a grocer on master chef. Apart from jumping on the bandwagon and seeking some positive feedback from the voters, is there any chance they could actually spend some time sorting out the big issues facing the country or is spin the only thing they are interested in…….
I agree. Never mind that nonsense. Let's get cracking on taxing these privileged landowners and getting our public services properly funded.

There’s a new game out for Labour called “Self destruction Bingo”…
I saw that.

The bingo cards are a free giveaway in today’s Daily Telegraph supplement, alongside their handy Tax Avoidance guide for landowners, Christmas Finance Planning with foreword by Kwazi Kwarteng, and top tips on how to avoid misinformation-driven race riots, by a Nigel F.

Call it self destruction if you like, think its good Government myself as we move further away from patriarchy.

Some of the Fathers4Justice lads probably dusting off their Batman outfits to protest these.

I see that Care Homes are having to pay the increased minimum wage plus the NIC on top. Now many care home providers are looking at closing down operations. So will this now be done by the NHS or will councils have to pay more money for services. 14 years Labour has had to determine and work out suitable strategies, so why does everything look like it was a five minute job on the back of a fag packet. None of it is joined up and no thought has been given either to consequence’s or costs. Now they’ve appointed 67 expensive talking shops of civil servants etc to discuss issues and propose solutions, this is just Starmer deflecting and setting up another patsy to take the blame…Of course next comes the first of many ‘resets’ to try and hide his current shambles…..

Let's just take it as given that not a single one of us are going to believe the sudden false concern about the Care sector from anyone remotely involved with the Tory party and especially not an enthusiastic defender of Brexit. Your daily post-pub bleatings are a constant reminder that Starmer must be ploughing the correct furrow.

If I lived anywhere near the Midlands I'd sneak into these sorts of drinking holes and listen to the wailing Gammon lamentations first hand to give myself a right proper chuckle and warm glow inside.

Crack on, Sir Keir.

Ain't true, I'm in that sector and my company is expanding.

Why are you so bitter and twisted. Do you believe that only the left think anything about Care. Some on here have actual experience of caring for people but I cba debating it with you tbh……..

Did you see how much the country spent in the Rwanda Plan?

Just wondered if you thought that was joined up and thought given to consequence and cost.

Because things like social care, which operate on fine margins are indirectly impacted by such a collosal waste of public money.

Also, as I pointed out, multiple times in the Brexit thread, social care was heavily susceptible to fluctuations in the £ and relied on EU/international labour.

Dress it up however you want, but as a country, we are having to deal with the disastrous decisions of the last 14 years.

Scrapping the winter fuel payment should inadvertently lower demand for care homes *taps nose
