Dont underestimate the possibility of Starmer and his gang morphing again (after morphing from Labour to Tory) to become a Reform type anti-immigration party.
Probably but that's not not unique center right or left of British politics, right across Europe, France Germany political left right are hardening immigration. Ireland key issue in election on people born elsewhere coming into Ireland, All hardening on flow of people coming into their respective countries. Think its going to have to be necessary evil to stem the flow to Alt righ, NFarage and such like.

I’m staggered that you can even mention false promises and misdirection while following a man who lied through his teeth to become Labour leader and who, together with Reeves, lied through his teeth to become PM…..anyway just another four and a half years, tick tock…….

Come on there is 95% of Labour Government to go, we have had the first reset, Cameron May Johnson Truss Sunak were having resets every day of week. Calm down have nice cup of tea.

Apart from the hysteria from right wing rats like you and weird Galloway lovers like @davek they are settling in nicely.

The WFA situation could have been handled much better, but apart from that get back to GB News you deluded gin soaked melt.
Basically this isn’t it. Most don’t like the WFA stuff, which feels like a misstep. And the Tory voting, land owning minority are shouting about their poor inheritance taxes, and they’ll definitely vote Tory next time, again. Other than that, its been unremarkable, so far.

Most people are accepting that the front end of the parliament is gonna be about stopping the rot and trying to balance the books, and will be looking to see improvements in the back end of the parliament - more stable economy, improving the dire state of the NHS, getting a functional Asylum system back in place.

Avoid the telegraph and GB News, and it’s a pretty drama-free operation so far.

No need for abuse is there. I appreciate it helps you feel better about your own inadequacy but let’s at least keep it civil……

Pipe down snowflake.

Don’t give it if you can’t take it back.

I’ve read enough insults from you on here to other posters. Especially after closing time.

I’m in no way inadequate. I just don’t suffer fools and arrogant, deluded people who don’t own what they have caused.

But we knew there would be an effect from Brexit. Brexit supporters even said there would probably a negative 10% hit in the Brexit thread…unlike the deliberate falsehoods put out by Starmer and Reeves and the lack of honesty regarding hitting millions of pensioners with the WFA and hitting businesses with the NIC increase. And talking of WFA, I see the Fuel Minister Liz Kendall who took away the £300 WFA , claims over £3,500 in expenses for her own home… “You will do as I say not do as I do”……
If you admit Brexit was a massive shot in the foot I'd take you more seriously.

The fact you gladly subscribe to something that was known to be a bad move economically yet merrily critique over things that are minor is testament to why everyone just mocks you Pete.

I think you'll find Pete is the right wing rat, and you're the weird Galloway lover.

Of course there's a Venn diagram out there with both of you in the "Voted to keep the Tories in power" middle.

You support a party that's making £3B worth of cuts to benefits; put 2 million pensioners into fuel poverty and supported an apartheid regime in Tel Aviv murdering 44,000 Palestinians.

Venn Diagram that.

I was on the fence about putting something about Rowling in the middle as for once Dave is on the money there, but as he's undercut himself massively by lending his vote to a party led by a man on the same page as her in the trans debate I decided against it.

Is that the big communication plan then, to go on about Boris again…in four and a half years it’ll be “but worrabout Boris” as if that’s the clinching argument.

You still haven’t twigged what went on at the last election have you. Labour got more votes under Corbyn, conservatives were really angry with Sunak for stabbing him in the back and refused to support the party while he was leader. Sunak shot himself in the foot by calling it too early thereby allowing Farage to remain in the U.K. as opposed to going to the USA to support Trump and take votes away. It was a no brainer of a result. So enjoy the four and a half years remaining……
