Mostly Davek and you not voting. If you had voted green the country would be in a better place. Critical mass.

But no, you two either went for the idiot option or abstained. My conscience us clear, to quote Davek. I voted Greens.

You two ARE the problem. Own it.

Yet you spend all your time defending Starmer. I was at least honest enough to say I wouldn’t be voting Tory or supporting Sunak, well before the election was even announced….

No, I spend my time laughing at you and Dave.

Plz quote evidence to demonstrate i spend all my time on here defending Starmer?

Why, only yesterday I was agitating to get Zat banned in the Israel thread and laughing at posts about Boris. I even found time to immerse myself in Everton misery.

Bit, by bit, day by day, comes another piece of naivety from Starmer. How did it not occur to him that by giving away our strategic base in the Indian Ocean, that this would stir up the Argentinians over the Falklands. No doubt the EU and Spain will now be thinking similar over Gibraltar. The difference being that if the Argentines invade the Falklands again, British troops and no doubt some Falkland Islanders will pay the price of his cowardly naivety with their lives….
We didn’t give up the base. We gave up sovereignty of the island but the base will remain.

K'in ell Pete, they don't have the capability let alone the will to do so.

The Sue Gray stuff isn't amazing. It all feels a bit chaotic.
Knives were out for her way before she aligned with Starmzy, specifically for finding against international super hunk and virile SOB boris. They couldn't bury her report behind the pigs pretend efforts fast enough. There's an argument that says she jumped to help labour as the tory scum made her efforts in the CS impossible from then on.

She's important because with her the avalanche of lies boris had told started to collapse around him, along side his support.
Gray as Cushing's Helsing to boris' Lee's Dracula. Quite the ironic skill of his, to be able to suck blood from anything, even a stone.

Enjoy the pub Pete.

"Later, however, after publication of this story, the Treasury changed its line and said it was planning to stick by the 1 January deadline."

Let's wait and see shall we

Would have been better off adding VAT incrementally over a number of years to avoid startling the independent school crowd. Start at 5 percent and then add a few percent a year and it would have been absorbed without a whimper.

Now we have a potential backtrack to beat Labour over the head with which could have been avoided.

Go in two footed double the rate, let's see how the many boris jnr's and the rest handle state education. Earn your spot at oxford and eton boys, hard work earns privilege. Can't cut the mustard, welcome to the school of hard knocks.

I actually agree with you. Pity Starmer didn’t do the same……
