I mean he’s talking about cracking down on non-doms which makes him ripe for a hiding from the non-doms who control the media .

We’ve got mp’s who have Been chastised for failing to declare donations and freebies criticising starmer for being sir freebie , it’s definitely a concerted effort . Feels like with things like the clothes he’s opened the door for it but the figure of £20k for his son staying at the fellas house his ridiculous. The rules? No. They've been very careful to remain within the rules while they stuck their snouts in the trough. The expenses scandal wasn't about breaking rules either. It was about uncovering the scale of the blagging.

Well now the Starmer Gang are in power, so given that they've been so vociferous in opposition about Tory grifting, they'll no doubt redefine the rules to scrap all gifts...wont they?

I think it's fairly obvious the line of attack from the right/turbo-capitalist wealthy pigdogs for the benefit of those who read the Telegraph and watch GB news (that's @peteblue and @davek, clearly).

Pick out all of the expenses stuff, keep going on about the WFA, make out they're wealthy grubbers with snouts in the trough who are out of touch... then when the inevitable tax rises come, attack attack attack for not serving the 'common' man. With tax cuts disproportionately favouring the right/turbo-capitalist wealthy pigdogs.
