I have no issue with it…. Large companies have always done this with people in the public eye…. It’s costing the tax payer nothing and as I said, it’s all declared and transparent
Oh well then it must be right. Let's just let Cabinet ministers on £180K per annum get a load of free gear and tickets. Democracy is all about that isn't it?

Look, when a party says it'll end sleaze and influence over government then it unleashes a lot of scrutiny on itself to make sure they are squeaky clean and walking the talk.

'Labour' have been caught out because they've been accepting gifts and hospitality from businesses and individuals seeking a policy outcome...as per Jonathan Reynolds taking Glastonbury hospitality from Google who were lobbying to get internet businesses tax at a reduced rate.

There's absolutely zero defence for this Starmer Gang. Ilm delighted the country are having their noses rubbed in their naivety in electing a bunch of Red Tory scum.

And like I said…. If a conflict of interest comes to light then I will hold their feet to the flames.

Look at Reynold's feeble excuse re Google's lost tickets: "Er well the thing was that I wasn't in on tax decisions I was just the shadow business minister at the time, so that's that".

And would no doubt accept that as valid.

Even that rat minister Peter Kyle has just admitted that they need to look at what falls within what's acceptable as freebies as well as those things that aren't.

Let's see if they do a complete rather than partial u-turn on this.

The trouble with 'Labour' though is this: they've turfed out of the party any people of principle who would oppose austerity or genocide who would 'embarrass' the Starmer Gang leadership and replaced them with blaggers like that slum landlord in the news lately...and there's many more of them in that party now as MPs. So these bung and sleaze stories will be popping up regularly.

Have they broken any rules Dave ?

Been looking into Lord Ali and the money he has gifted, who is what he, from very working class immigrant background. And one of few openly Gay Muslims. No surprise old white men in the media and their foot soldiers have an axe to grind...

Yet even though you are now trying to turn it into a racist or homophobe issue, no one has actually had a go at the donor, just the greedy recipients…if you want to make up unjustified insults, have a look in the Brexit thread, your fellow travellers tried them all in there…….

Mate he took all of them in his capacity as leader of the opposition. It’s not uncommon for people to be invited to those sorts of events in that role. And still everything he took totalled £100,000. £90,000 less then Borris took via a back handed trust paid to him by a lord just to do up his flat.

I’m not mentioning Borris to highlight what an odious little toad he is. I’m simply trying to show parity, you can’t call out Labour for being immoral in a time of hardship when every other MP does it, it’s mostly part of the role. There’s nothing illegal about accepting hospitality as an MP, it’s the not declaring it that’s immoral. Like when Borris conveniently lost the phone with the what’s app messages to the Lord that paid for his flat and said he couldn’t remember who paid for it or how much it cost. Then the info was found after he made 2 ethics chairs stand down for daring to question his ethics.

I don’t agree with some of the hospitality provided to either side but at least look at what happens on both sides of the fence before you start calling out the other side

You do remember of course that the flat was in 10 Downing St, a publicly owned property. If Starmer had done it he’d have said he was saving taxpayers money or something to do with security. Stop looking at Boris, he’s not even an MP, look to the greedy yet pious and sanctimonious weasel you voted for…..

I see hero Starmer will be out of the country when the conference votes on the Winter Fuel Allowance… Jimmy Savile, nothing to do with me gov, Al Fayed, nothing to do with me gov, Winter Fuel Allowance, I’ll leave Reeves to take the flak……

Labour remember, thread policeman.

Surprised Reeves got away with the 'batship*' comment, I did laugh at the 'decided at 16 she was working class'.

Played the woman card, first chancellor etc, played up to change and equality and most important that covid fraud aint being let off.

There are a lot of things to attack starmer on at the moment, but I expected better from you than Jimmy Saville
