Mate he took all of them in his capacity as leader of the opposition. It’s not uncommon for people to be invited to those sorts of events in that role. And still everything he took totalled £100,000. £90,000 less then Borris took via a back handed trust paid to him by a lord just to do up his flat.
I’m not mentioning Borris to highlight what an odious little toad he is. I’m simply trying to show parity, you can’t call out Labour for being immoral in a time of hardship when every other MP does it, it’s mostly part of the role. There’s nothing illegal about accepting hospitality as an MP, it’s the not declaring it that’s immoral. Like when Borris conveniently lost the phone with the what’s app messages to the Lord that paid for his flat and said he couldn’t remember who paid for it or how much it cost. Then the info was found after he made 2 ethics chairs stand down for daring to question his ethics.
I don’t agree with some of the hospitality provided to either side but at least look at what happens on both sides of the fence before you start calling out the other side
