Its just the latest Daily Mail talking point, it will be replaced by something else soon. They did not say that after the Brexit vote, though even Starmer wanted another vote ...... a charlatan a labour leader with a Blue rosette
Meant here (forum )as well elsewhere, fair few were never naive to believe the hyperbolic lies round Johnson. The biggest lie was he could talent spot and surround himself with the best, look how that turned out. From Truss Cummings Sunak, the best apparently l.I seemed to remember the political commenteriat consensus was he would be in for 10 years. These people don't know what they are talking about.
You lost Pete…. Get over itIf Sunak hadn’t stabbed him in the back he’d still be PM…..
You've not read either, have you Dave?"We'll freeze your gas and leccy bills" has turned into "the market says you're getting another 10% increase on your energy bills...oh, and we've decided to stop pensioners getting a winter fuel payment...mugs".
You lost Pete…. Get over it
Yes the did. And they seem to be the same people saying Labour will.be out quickly. I'm not going to take much notice of them.
I did not say the Tories would be in forever, and made quite clear I always thought Labour had a good chance of winning. I'm not going to take much notice of people who called the last 5 years terribly.
A socialist government should kick the rich in the nuts - not an 80-year-old pensioner mate - they reckon this winter the hospitals will be full of OAP's with hypothermia mate - great start by Starmer = NOT
If my auntie had a wang she’d be my uncleJust pointing out what would have happened had Sunak not knifed him…..
If my auntie had a wang she’d be my uncle![]()
Its the biggest own goal I have witnessed - his words NO More Austerity - broken in two weeks of Government - yes the fuel allowance did need altering - but to set the level at Pension Credit level is far to low - by the way I will not suffer - its disabled over 80 years old that will - why not just sett it at any pensioner income over the 40p tax rate it would end forever -And energy prices about to go up by 10%. Starmer and Reeves have just lost any pensioner votes they may have got and those who withheld their normal conservative vote to punish Sunak will return. Once Sunak has gone the Tories will rebuild and no doubt get back a fair percentage of the four million protest voters who went with Farage. Starmer is a one term PM…
