Being a clown cost him - Starmer has broken no more austerity on benefits in 2 weeks - in fact he was going one step further to take the billions of contracts of Atos & American companies who are on productivity bonuses to kick the sick off any benefits - getting rid of Work capability assessments would have saved billions ?
What did we get - nothing - Look I agree no well off pensioners should get the fuel allowance - but to means test it so low & then fuel is going up 12 % in the Autumn - petrol is forecast to go up unfairly - 5 p a litre - not a very socialist policy is it ?
Even the Tories & I hate them helped everyone when the Ukraine war started with a heating grant for everyone - FGS Starmer is not socialism, he is a Tory in a red rosette - Reeves is an ex Banker who will not hammer the Bankers Bonuses ?
I was fooled to put my faith in this lot !
Console yourself that The Tories would have been doing a worse job, like they did for the last 14 years.
The country is in a complete mess, tough choices need to be taken.
Be thankful they didnt come for the young uns.
And "the bankers bonuses" is such a cliché, The UK financial services are our biggest asset and after Brexit we need to be more attractive.
A socialist government should kick the rich in the nuts - not an 80-year-old pensioner mate - they reckon this winter the hospitals will be full of OAP's with hypothermia mate - great start by Starmer = NOT

Im not entirely convinced Starmers Labour is socialist.
But again, its been less than 2 months, they inherited a broken country that was merely weeks away from rioting.
Let them cook, if things arent any better in 4 years, then theres an election, vote them out.
I did not see many OAP'S rioting ..... they still got kicked in the nuts though .... the ones that needed their winter fuel allowanceit that is .....
They did vote for Brexit tho...

Probably entitled to the fuel allowances - well they don't need them if they are locked up that is ....
40 % of Labour voters voted for Brexit ..... they have clamped down on OAPS who lived the winter in a hot country abroad & still got their winter fuel allowances - I met many on the car boot bragging about it ..... did the car boots till the end of September & then went to their Villa in Spain did car boots there too & came back at just after Easter - that loophole was closed only a while back .....
