I'm glad to hear it. Now stop trying to cause trouble for me.

Apropos of nothing, two random big stories this week and Dave's reaction...

Southport stabbings:

"They should be locking up the thug leaders of the far right. Unfortunately they dont want to offend them because a lot of their sympathisers voted for Starmer in the last election."

Starmer's gang trying to lock up thug far right leader Tommy Robinson, and him fleeing the country presumably feeling a bit offended about the arrest:

They're still giving the allowance to people on pension benefits - they are just removing it for people who are not.

I'm not even sure that last bit is true - sounds like another imaginary Daily Mail tax/increase - but the price of energy has been going through the roof for years, which again was all Russia's fault. The war is still going on but if it goes up under Labour it will all of a sudden be their fault?

I'm willing to pay more taxes to do my bit in trying to get the country working again. I'm willing to see things that benefit me get cut to do my bit in trying to get the country working again. I accept that people I don't agree with will get help from the state if they need it.

All I ask is that the government tries to do its best within rational grounds.

And yet we have people raging at benefit scroungers, who complain that their benefits are being means tested, who forgive the Tories 14 years of incompetence and tens of billions of waste, yet who demand that Labour take responsibility 3 weeks in for trying to scrape 500 million from somewhere.

They'd probably dismiss any countenance of closer ties to the EU to try and up our growth as well. I have very little to no sympathy for these people, they are the enemy within.

Two faced lying cow…

Unless the Unions want a big pay rise, then tough…….
That only works if truth was told from the onset. What many have missed is Sunak and Hunt purposely withheld information from OBR in vain hope to control narrative post election.

Sure its been ignored by much of the media and Labour will have to work hard to get the facts of the matter out.

There is no denial of Reeves numbers from Hunt yesterday just lot of contrite blurt from a posh tit who has been caught out.

Please don’t try and excuse this hypocritical and spiteful act by a supposedly Labour government. Just accept that it’s a disgusting and disgraceful act. Is this really what people who wanted Labour voted for. Come on guys own up, this affects your parents and grandparents…who voted for this to happen…..

Your in denial of facts of the matter.
My mum wont miss it. People I support with mental health wont miss it, but j dare say many will get it, either by pension credit (labour policy) or pip/attendance allowance. Sure some people may miss out, but there has to be a cut off, just like working time benefits.

It's strange how the Tory mantra is "pave your own way" but when they lose something they throw the toys out of the pram.

It affects everyone who is lucky enough to reach pension age. Things that have been taken from the pensioners of today affect the pensioners of tomorrow.
Hopefully though, by giving public sector workers the raise that was recommended by the independent body, less people will need the winter fuel payment in the future.

I’m all for them not giving money to people who don’t need it.

Your government caused this though. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Voting Tory to try and align yourself with the posh people 🙄 so shallow, delusional and self centred. You aren’t one of them, you are just one of their subjects.
