My mistake, still an MP though.

So is The Tory mp for Thanet who went to court charged with fiddling election expenses who in fairness was found not guilty . Mackinlay was still an MP whilst on bail so the fact she’s an mp whilst not facing criminal charges shouldn’t be a huge surprise .

That mp who sent loads of messages saying he wanted to beat those two women is also still an mp as is Charlie Elphicke Who was accused of assaulting two women and these two even got the whip back , just before the confidence vote funny enough .

Even onasanya is still an mp despite being convicted of perverting the course of justice although at least she’s been suspended from the party .

So not a massive shock she’s an mp.

The Alex Salmond assault story that broke overnight is an interesting one. That could benefit Labour up there and wheedle out a few more seats north of the border.

If the SNP are at each others throats (and Salmond is a big beast still and can make a lot of noise and has allies in that party) then SNP unity and morale will be undermined.

One to look out for this.

The sheer amount of contempt Fiona Bruce demonstrated against Diane Abbott last night is symptomatic of a media that's not fit for purpose.

A no deal Brexit would be utterly horrendous for this country, and Labour is right to do everything in its power to guarantee that it'll never happen.

Sounds like Bruce wasn't only interjecting a lot but also giving her own opinions and views on things

Surely the chair should be unbiased and just make sure everyone gets a fair chance to speak?

It was a disgrace, albeit not a surprising one. The treatment Abbott gets is absolutely disgusting.

Is Bruce's husband still doing the adverts for the Tory Party as well?

Totally agree on dimbleby , never going to be easy . I thought she was excellent in the first show , I didn’t see the second but I’m disappointed by what I’ve seen reported since .

Even Dimbleby was interjecting far too often. As a political debate, some of the mods on here do a better job....mind you, Abbott is playing this woman/race card every time she makes a fool of herself. Remember this is the person who wants to be the Home Secretary. *shudders........

I can only presume it’s in relation to his recent issues but no details yet .
