Current Affairs The Labour Party

I thought it was pretty obvious that most people are voting for Labour because they're literally the only option available if we're to get rid of the Tories. Speaking for myself, I'd say that the manifesto is largely pointless anyway. I mean the Tories pledged to do some levelling up in the last manifesto. I'm happy to judge Labour on how they actually perform rather than what they promise to do.
Using the Johnson government as a benchmark ? Are you saying that like Johnson, Starmer/Labour's pledges mean nothing anyway ? How specifically are Labour going to be better than the Tories in that case ? Foreign policy will be the same. Economics are going to be the same. A better distribution of accents?

Honesty and communication is the key when they get in.

We all know that the country is in a mess, but they need to clearly lay out why it`s a mess and how much it`s going to cost to fix it.

From my own personal point of view, I wouldn`t mind paying more tax, if I knew it was going to be spent properly on trying to remedy the mess they`re about to inherit or going to line the pockets of " preferred bidders ".
More projection of hope mate. Honesty and open communication ? Really.

Even though the tax burden is extortionate currently, i'd agree with you, but only if what we invested in was going to be held as a national asset, and that won't happen with Labour, it'll be corporate subsidy all the way with GB Energy, their rail 'fix', etc.. Something like 48 corporate lobbyists parachuted in to contest seats attests to this.

A 13-ish year old who hacked a US gov server looking for UFO stuff was going to be extradited to the US for a C70yr sentence by Starmer but May overruled his decision.
Very long, had it on in the background.
Wow. When someone's on the wrong side of enlightenment to Theresa May you know you're dealing with an utter scumbag.

Shame she wasn't quiet so caring when she was bouncing british citizens off to Jamaica amongst others.
Hey, i'm not singing the virtues of May, i'm comparing the attitude of May to Starmer in this one specific instance, but nice try at deflection.

Deflection? Kid was arsing around with national secrets, the Windrush victims were guilty of nothing but being black.

Well played, that could wrap up this weeks stupidest post and it's early afternoon on Monday. Bravo.

The overall impression I get is he's happy to put the boot in to low-lying fruit (6month prison sentence for stealing a bottle of water during a riot) but finds reasons to let the establishment escape justice when it goes ott.

How about let’s wait and see ?

I've made no mention of Windrush, you brought that to the fore. I suggest you re-read, and if you want to call May a racist go ahead ffs.
