Maybe the militant/momentum crowd should have courage in their convictions and start the Momentum party with a manifesto that will not suffer challenges from within the Labour party. I could be a good thing and would certainly give some a home they feel comfortable in. Especially as they could focus away from the irrational rump of the small c voting public.

There is much merit in what she says, IMO. Same for the Greens and Plaid last night on QT. Parties ready to push for change just need to work on the people side of things as the COL, lobby groups and British media will find any points that can be attacked.

Funny you should say that, because one would have thought that the onus would be on those departing from the core values of the party to go their own way really, but I suppose they tried that and fell flat on their faces. At least they learned from their mistake, it's just a shame that they had to lie for their leader to become elected then gut the party and drag it to the right.

Yes, you are right. Militant/momento had another go and ultimately failed, but did get further this time. It would be interesting if they did set up a party as they might not be as irrelevant as they seem to fear.

If we are stuck with this system then multiple parties splitting the big twos votes would probably be a good thing in the medium to long term.

Your world will soon be full of Red Tories.

Never mind people saying about wasting your vote on 3rd parties or abstaining, I genuinely think you should vote Tory in the GE.

Your obvious hatred for Starmer and Labour is such that you should do everything in your power to stop them. If Labour get in, you’ll only have yourself to blame for not effectively opposing them with your vote.

Dave’s current wish list of politicians :

Putin ✅
Trump✅
Galloway✅

Although that is subject to change, wind dependant.
