This is what people have been trying to tell you throughout this thread. Who on earth do you believe is realistically on the table in order to "get the Tories out"? Count Binface? The Greens? Your Workers Revolutionary mob?
I accept your apology.

So you changed you're mine from abstaining again, dearie me Dave, dearie me. Tell the truth you're terrified of a Centrist Labour party gaining power where a Corbyn Labour party failed, it's pride Dave tell it how it is.
Corbyn failed because he was undermined by the Starmer acolytes who in turn were primed by Blair. Any way you look at it,it's no longer the Labour party.

Corbyn failed because he was a 2 time loser, he had his chance and failed. He was never going to win, he's moved on and so has the Labour Party who have a great chance of winning.
Lost because he was undermined by the very people who should had supported him.Labour will probably win but my prediction is they'll make a pigs ear of government and won't last a full term. Starmer will be found out for what he truly is. Winning because Labour are just about better than a Tory party in disarray, sad reflection on how far they've fallen.

Well I can't predict the future but I'll wait and see, give them every chance and see how it turns out. Got to be better than the last 14 years.

Tsubaki isn't this what Tony Blair done in 1997, he changed traditional Labour policies to gain voters who wouldn't dream of voting for the Labour party, because at the time Labour was unelectable and as Blair said most of his time being a labour MP was spent in opposition. He said he/ Labour could do nothing in opposition, they needed to be in power to govern for people who had traditionally voted Labour all their lives, but we're denied a voice. So he decided to create New Labour that appealed to a greater variety of voted and New Labour went on to have their longest time I power.

So look today the Labour party have been in opposition for 14 years, isn't Starmer trying out the Blair way out of necessity ? As Blair found out then and was right Starmer is now going along the same path now, he needs to, to win the election. I know some people won't like it, but the alternative is simply another 5 years in opposition.
I fear that you are wasting your time here, mate. He is a Corbyn ideologue and part of the problem we face in trying to get rid of the nightmare that the country has been living through.

The lunacy of the situation is that many of us want the same sort of things but, as these threads attest, we are set upon eachother by the current political system.

What we all need are potatoes, lots and lots of potatoes

Labour weren't unelectable before Blair.

Had he not died, John Smith would've been Prime Minister.

The Tory Party were a broken rabble by 1995.

Its a right wing 'Labour' Party. There's nothing centrist about a party that has promised to extend privatisation and will carry out a policy of continued cuts and hammer migrants.

Keep kidding yourself. As said, you and the other believers will learn the hard way.

Yeah the way some people are acting on here the hard way will be another 5 years of the Tories, shakes head.

As mentioned no party will create significant change as the infrastructure is already in place and the cost to rebuild is ungodly.

The statement in bold actually goes against your top statement. If a party is seeking not to change policy they are by nature centre grounded, as that is where the popular opinion lay.

Also I find your plight for "migrants" very thoughtful, I am in a long term relationship with a person I would never define as a migrant.

A foreign national is certainly a more kinder term and one that reflects the professional and intellectual clout they provide to the country.

He lost Because people didn't vote for him.
I didn't mind his policy's personally but never thought he had a chance of getting in .
He played well to the students and party members but not the wider public.
I was fed up arguing with people in work that wouldn't vote labour because they didn't like him. Abbot , thorneberry ect just wouldn't have it they are people not the party.
He didn't speak for them or they didn't trust him or the party used to frustrate the life out of me.
I voted both times for him but knew it he was onto a hiding.

The Red Wall was his undoing, the Tories fed into the inherent racist views of the inbred populations of towns like Burnley etc. Plus the students who appeared to worship him given the choice of getting up and dressed to go out and vote preferred an Uber delivered Happy Meal and a game of (insert the latest most popular online game).

Well the first part of their yet to be published manifesto is...Bring down NHS waiting lists.
By how much, a day,a week? Someone waiting months for a triple bypass with be thrilled to hear that. Starmer has spent days speaking but saying nothing of substance.
