They've sickened even soft left figures from the past like Short.

A Red Labour government is going to accelerate the exodus from that party and the inevitable outcome will be a new party on the left-soft left.

No Labour MP can trust the current party unless they're completely plastic and unprincipled. Wouldn't be surprised if a few just stood as independents.

I think she wanted to make the decision herself, or failing that have an open selection.

As for how this happened, I think it’s clearly the faction running the party wanting to flex on the left - they leaked it to the same papers that they leaked Fazia Shaheen’s blocking to. Hopefully they see their arses on this and both stand, if their respective CLPs agree.

Imagine either of the leader's of the Purple Uni-Party going up against Galloway on a TV debate. People may not agree with him and think he's divisive, but he's the best orator in British politics. These 2 wouldn't want to do it, especially Starmer who's as wooden as a fence and has no ability think on the fly.

He gets angry, aggressive and threatening, the moment anyone challenges him or disagrees with him, that`s not a great orator, it`s a bully, who can`t control himself.
