Current Affairs The Labour Party

If this is all that people have to discredit Starmer and Rayner with Labour have nothing to worry about.

Starmer having been crystal clear on Palestinian statehood, being honest when asked about Diane No One Cares Abbott and Rayner's son and daughter in law having an only fans account. Oh and Rayner having been cleared by... well everyone over her tax affairs.

It's all laughable when you look at whats gone on with Tory MPs over the past few months. Scandal after scandal after scandal.

Desperate Tory grifting.
If nobody cares how is it she has a majority that can be seen from outer space ?

That Luke Akehurst is the biggest t*** involved in the party by a country mile. The fact him and Thatcherite Tory defectors are welcomed in to the party and Corbyn and Abbott with her 5 terms and 30,000 majority are not welcome should tell every non-Tory that a thumping Labour majority win in the GE will be a terrible thing to happen.

He hasn't though, has he re: Israel. The other day he said something fairly clear about what he'd do when/if in power, which I thought was pretty good. And now he has got rid of Faiza and let Akehurst run for a seat.

If no one cares about Abbott, why has she been the local MP for 30+ years? That's impressive for any MP in a democracy, regardless of the party. It might get more people to vote for labour because of peoples weird hatred of her, but they will also lose a seat if she runs as an independent. So that's possibly two seats chucked away now, maybe even three because people are 'too left'
No room for the left of UK politics in the Labour party, who'd have thunk it...

All this throws a bit of light on why Starmer's been insisting on only having a TV debate with Sunak head-to-head, no other parties. He'd give the Green's a majority after ten minutes.
Imagine either of the leader's of the Purple Uni-Party going up against Galloway on a TV debate. People may not agree with him and think he's divisive, but he's the best orator in British politics. These 2 wouldn't want to do it, especially Starmer who's as wooden as a fence and has no ability think on the fly.

He really isn’t the best orator in British politics, even in the current low state of political oratory.

New party needed more than ever now.

There is no place for social democracy in the Starmer Party.

The left still in there need to join the 200,000 who've left it since Starmer and Mandelson got control. Join with them and non-affiliated unions (and persuade away the affiliated unions who hate Starmer like Unite, ASLEF and the Fire Brigade's Union) and create a new social democratic party committed to traditional Labour values.

That's bound to come over the course of the next parliament as Starmer and his gang continue to attack the left and move the old shell of a party further rightwards.

What we're seeing here is game changing epoch-shifting change on the left and centre-left of British politics.

Just Starmer mate, Sunak was apparently happy for more parties to be present. Starmer refused and will only accept a TV debate with Sunak alone.

Why do we associate being a good orator with being a good prime minister?

I am still not sure about this - as I’ve said previously all the fixes, the impositions, the shabby treatment, the corrupt activities and so on are reminders of this factions weakness.

This weakness will cause their collapse when in government (again), and hopefully the left will do what it should have done during Corbyn’s day and purge these in return (those of them that are not imprisoned by that point).
