If this is all that people have to discredit Starmer and Rayner with Labour have nothing to worry about.

Starmer having been crystal clear on Palestinian statehood, being honest when asked about Diane No One Cares Abbott and Rayner's son and daughter in law having an only fans account. Oh and Rayner having been cleared by... well everyone over her tax affairs.

It's all laughable when you look at whats gone on with Tory MPs over the past few months. Scandal after scandal after scandal.

This suggests that Starmer and his henchmen have been drawing the Abbott decision out so that she has to stand down on health grounds.

He hasn't though, has he re: Israel. The other day he said something fairly clear about what he'd do when/if in power, which I thought was pretty good. And now he has got rid of Faiza and let Akehurst run for a seat.

If no one cares about Abbott, why has she been the local MP for 30+ years? That's impressive for any MP in a democracy, regardless of the party. It might get more people to vote for labour because of peoples weird hatred of her, but they will also lose a seat if she runs as an independent. So that's possibly two seats chucked away now, maybe even three because people are 'too left'

There was a chap featured in the Labour Files documentary series from Sussex/Brighton area - this may be related to that. Of course don't jump to conclusions, but it's what someone's actually done that matters, hahaha

All conjecture, of course... If it's a serious allegation and someone has sat on it, waiting for an election, it's very questionable.

A terrible few days for the party which has put three safe seats in danger.

I don’t see how they can be so complacent considering how many seats they need to claim back for a majority.

But it will be “the lefts” fault if they don’t manage it.

If Labour were not to win the election, it'll be the most epic fluff' up in political history. But let's be honest, they will win the election...

... the issue here is what majority they will have, what the party looks like afterwards and whether they allow any parties to be able to pressure them.
