Strictly curtilage, i've never known anyone give a flying one or pause for thought in suburbia.

I know, hence the dickheads remark. People who'd rather have pristine hedgerows than a chorus of birdsong and loads of different varieties of bird visiting the garden to feed and drink every morning really should not be allowed to vote.

I came back from visiting my mum this afternoon through a part of Rochdale that is predominently Asian or Asian heritage. If that’s anything to go by Galloway must be in with a real chance now that Labour are out. I’ve never seen as many posters for one candidate without seeing any for other candidates. There was one street were I counted 12 posters on poles outside houses. All for Galloway. Almost every other house. It’s obvious who the Asian voters are voting for now the Labour candidate has gone. I suppose they must make up a third of the electorate. The other two thirds will be split between a myriad of candidates or not even voting.
I wonder if they know if he's backed by the BNP ?

Bad night for the Tories Reform Lib Dem and Greens.

There was less mention of Rishi Sunak in Galloway's victory speech but it wasn't a good result for the Conservative Party either.

They would have hoped to have come second here but they were beaten into third place by a local businessman running as an independent.

Nor was it a good night for Reform UK either, who picked up fewer than 2,000 votes. And Greens with 455...

Lib Dems middling the pack.

Expect it to return to Labour in a few months with proper vetted candidate and lesson learnt.

I’m with Gorgeous George, the situation in Gaza is entirely, 120%, the fault of Starmer and not the people who have the power to do something about it.

As an aside, he’s now the MP for a town twinned with Lviv, so I’m also certain that he’ll be expressing solidarity with Ukraine soon and not appearing on RT. AT ALL….

Who finished fourth again? I feel that this information is somehow missing from your in depth analysis.
